EFT Tapping at Virgin Active Tableview in Cape Town Spin Class

I had a tummy bug and so this is my second day properly at the gym, and it’s good that my health is picking up again almost where I left off. I started tapping discreetly by rubbing the finger points against the handlebars, then ended up rubbing some extra points from the Under Nipple down. The statements I used were something like:

“1 minute [at very high speed]” when we had a 1-minute breakaway.

“I can do this. YES I CAN”.

“I am Superwoman” Now that one made me weaker, whereas in the past it had worked. So I tapped on all the issues around it, or should I say – rubbed.

At one point, I felt like I was breathing freely. It was the most amazing feeling, to feel normal again. It didn’t last, but I remember it and hold onto it.

Gillian (worth a visit to Virgin Active in Cape Town’s Tableview – she really gets the music) was saying something to those in the group training for Ironman. At the same time, I happened to be tapping, and all of a sudden it hit me: There is no reason why I can’t make that my goal! OK, I’ll start small, with a small event, and build up. I reckon it will take me 4 years to get my fitness up to the level of entry in a smaller event, but I now plan to do it. I gave myself till January 2014 to become ready. 3 Years and 11 months and counting…

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health.

Procrastination EFT Tapping

Yuk, paperwork. I procrastinated so much I have to do this work today. Today is a work day, as I usually take my day off during the week. But still, I wanted a lie-in and of course had to get up to do paperwork. then a family issue that I just had to attend to, then now back to the dreaded paperworkย  ๐Ÿ™

Setup

“Even though I HATE paperwork, I begrudgingly accept I have to do it, I accept myself anyway”

Reminder

“I begrudgingly accept I have to do it”

“… Despite constant interruptions…”

(My spouse felt like constantly interrupting me too, just for conversation…)

“Hate perwork”

“Detest paperwork”

Sigh… Gotta get on with it… See you later…

Eating when tired

January is usually a slow month. This year it started really busy, because of my hard work making it happen. But now, business has slowed down and I still have to keep up the pace. This means having less money with which to buy the healthiest foods and being tired. So I’m tapping…

“Even though I’m tired and feel unnaturally hungry, I ask my body to help me through this month, I don’t actually need food, just a rest. I choose to rest in February, when I can. In the meantime, I ask my body to wait. there is no need for extra food, it would just make me fat, and that’s no good for my health. I deeply love and accept myself”

I feel peaceful now, not hungry.
