COPD Exhacerbation and Stop Smoking EFT

Last night was the first night in 2 weeks that I had more than about 2 hours of sleep in one go. The last time I was this ill was in 2009 when hit by a big flu virus that led to COPD exacerbation. Since then, I had been careful and caught any exposure to flu and colds, tapped a great deal to prevent them taking hold, and taken herbal anti-virals straight away. This time, the shops were out of stock due to a flu epidemic in Cape Town where I currently live, and I was completing a very demanding task under great stress and pressure and with not enough time to tap for the stress that was coming my way. So I fell ill big time and ended up having to get antibiotic medication when the illness moved to the next phase, that of a chest infection.

But by then, I had been up many nights sleeping about 1 hour or 90 minutes at a time and lucky to get 4 hours of sleep or so. I was so tired and disorientated all the time, I did not notice that the antibiotics were giving me a fast heart rate and keeping me up at night. I could not sleep. So, I went from being unable to sleep due to drowning in gurgling mucus to being unable to sleep due to the antibiotics. Finally, after much tapping one night for sleep, I realized that it was indeed the antibiotics. EFT has a way of getting our minds clear. When we can think more clearly, we can find the cause of our problem, especially if tapping on emotional components does not work for the symptoms. I tapped briefly for the antibiotic effect to no avail, so after 5 days and most of 4 nights of being wide awake, wired, disorientated, and having a racing heart, I got herbal sedatives. Well, I took more than half the packet with no result. The next day, I was so tired that I was crying with sheer exhaustion. My spouse then went to the pharmacy and got me pharmaceutical sleeping pills. Finally, last night I slept for 12 hours in 3 stretches. Bliss!

Anyway, two days ago, when I was totally wired due to lack of sleep for so long, I tapped-cried-prayed as I asked God to make my suffering worth something to someone.

An hour later, I got the first enquiry in 3 months for stop-smoking EFT sessions. The client has done everything else to try and stop smoking and was desperate. They saw my website and called. Now there is something to show for what I have been through for 2 weeks, and I am very grateful. Helping others really helps us feel better about ourselves. Finally the whole thing feels more peaceful.

What are the chances of getting that call just after that tapping?! I don’t know how it works but just know that it does.

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. I call an emotion anything that your mind or body says to you, from fear to constricted airways. My health was not always as good as this. Please go back to around 2005 on this blog to get to the worst postings (when I was often bed-ridden, unable to breathe enough to get out of bed), if you are looking for how to tap for those really bad days of health. Check out my new Stop Smoking program. Please help me to help others who can be saved from getting COPD. COPD is mainly due to smoking and can strike at any age. I got mine at about 25 years of age. Thank you for reading this post and please share with someone who needs it 🙂
