Writing From The Heart with EFT

I sat there on my computer just now for 2 hours trying to get the writer’s block out of me. It was hard due to distractions. I had to tap on all the points I could easily access as my spouse was cussing in the next room filling out a tedious form for us. And I had to tap-and-swear for the dog next door barking, until finally, its owners got the dog inside. But still, no matter which unfinished writing work I opened, I just closed it again in dismay. I just couldn’t write. No motivation whatsoever.

Then I sat down and tapped something like the following Setup and Reminder in one on all the points:
“Not motivated. I accept myself anyway”

And lo and behold, a realization came over me, an AHA moment:
I was trying to write what I thought others wanted to read, not what I wanted to write from the heart!

So I wrote this blog post instead. Half-way through, I remembered the color healing book I had promised a lovely client to finish and publish. And that too, is from my heart. So… Back on track!

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system – better in my experience than hypnotherapy or anything else I have tried! In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. I call an emotion anything that your mind or body says to you, from fear to constricted airways. My health was not always as good as this. Tapping Away Shame With EFT

Well, rubbing, but just as effective as tapping. Here is a video showing the rubbing, as I was in a public place and did not want to look crazy by tapping on the top of my head throughout…

The shame was because I had a foot injury and still wanted to do gym classes but had to do most of the moves low-impact and without shoes (to protect my injured little toe from the impact of the shoes). But after a month of COPD winning, not even a foot injury could stop me from living my life and winning back. So the shame simply had to be tapped away. I did 2 great classes at the gym and now feel no shame. Just happy!
