When I started this blog way back in 2004 (first postings have unfortunately been lost, but you can go back to 2005), I thought I had done all my EFT past self-tapping. This is part of your Personal Peace Procedure. The next part is to tap on anything that comes up on a day-to-day basis. However, as you can see if you go back to 2005, I had plenty in my past to still tap on. Also, every now and then, something long-forgotten surfaces for healing. These are now small events, not like the big events at the beginning of this blog.
To illustrate, let me tell you about a tapping I did in the last two weeks. My spouse brought old drinking mugs into our household. Two were remnants of the 1980s, those clear mugs that are either totally clear glass or a transparent brown glass. And for some reason, I always hated them. I found it hard to make someone a cup of coffee in them, but my spouse loved those mugs, and so I used them begrudgingly. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that I did not even like washing them or even touching them whilst putting them back into the cupboard. Then finally, I remembered! I had a terrible time in my first marriage in the early 80s, when I had mugs just like those. Many arguments happened whilst I was drinking tea from those mugs. After the divorce, I went through a period of poverty for several months whilst having cups of tea in those mugs. No wonder I didn´t like them. So I tapped something like:
¨I release the memory of these 80s mugs from my being, I release, I let go, I deeply love and accept myself¨.

I have just tapped it again, using the 9-Gamut this time too, and released the last of it. Wow, I am smiling as I tap. A memory of a fight has just melted, and in its place was Duran Duran and Culture Club playing on TV whilst I enjoyed a cup of tea in those nice mugs!

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. I call an emotion anything that your mind or body says to you, from fear to constricted airways. My health was not always as good as this.
