Guilty

Today is the third day I have flu. It hit me on Saturday, when I came home from a meeting, I spent all day yesterday in bed (even managed two phone appointments from bed), and today, I canceled my in-person appointments. Although I am rearranging them, I feel terribly guilty.

Setup:

“Even though I have the flu, and I feel I can’t forgive myself, I accept myself anyway”

“Even though I’m guilty, I should have protected myself better against flu, I accept myself anyway”

“Even though I feel guilty, I accept myself and fight the flu”

Reminder:

“Guilty”

Setup:

“Even though I have the flu, I love myself anyway”

“Even though I’m guilty, I should have protected myself better against flu, I love myself, I will protect better next time”

“Even though I feel guilty, I accept myself and fight the flu”

Reminder:

“I forgive myself and fight the flu”

No guilt! I feel stronger too – less dizzy!

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health.
