Running is a passion for me now, and having been a massage with EFT practitioner since 2004, I finally have put together a package for runners and started marketing it. It is exciting, fresh and unique motivational massage. All this came about by tapping in the gym whilst thinking of new ways forward. I find the gym a great place to think-and-tap. What I do is that I get on a cardiovascular machine, put my music on, and then allow the thought processes to unfurl as I tap or rub whatever EFT points I can easily or discreetly tap on. At other times, I do stretches for about 30 minutes or an hour Yoga class as I do the same. It really helps me think more objectively. It also helps me to think outside the box. Last and definitely not least, it helps me make the most of my workout.
It is wonderful that running has gotten me even further in my career as a complementary practitioner. Tomorrow, I go out for the first big run outside after the long winter we have had in Cape Town. It will be great running by the West Coast. And it’s going to be a lovely day.
When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. I call an emotion anything that your mind or body says to you, from fear to constricted airways. My health was not always as good as this. Please go back to around 2005 on this blog to get to the worst postings (when I was often bed-ridden, unable to breathe enough to get out of bed), if you are looking for how to tap for those really bad days of health.
