I am delighted to say that I did 4 full laps in the pool within only a few minutes. This is a big feat for me with my lung.

Well, I knew I could physically do it (kind of knew). Three-quarters of the way through the first lap, I got scared I would’t have enough breath. I somehow managed the rest of that lap but felt I could not go on.

So I stood in the pool and tapped on my Below Nipple point (any point will do, if you are unfamiliar with it):
“Even though I’m scared I won’t have the breath, I accept myself anyway”

This got me through to another lap. Then I felt done. But I couldn’t get ourt after only 2 laps! And i was in a hurry, there was no time to waste catching my breath. So I tapped:
“Even though I’m scared I don’t have enough oxygen…” Then I realised I need more carbon dioxide, not oxygen! And I finished “I will have enough carbon dioxide anyway”

Needless to say, the rest was easy peasy 🙂

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse.
