I have moved heaven on Earth to make a relative’s wishes happen. And still, no appreciation, only anger. I keep trying, because i feel it is my duty to, and out of love, but I am devastated by the latest retort.

Tapping…

Setup:
“Even though I am devastated and all my efforts to make this relative’s wishes come true are ignored and unappreciated, I know that I am doing my best and continue to do my best. I am a good person. I deserve forgiveness and deserve some slack.”

After a few rounds, I feel well enough to function. I have evolved the upset. I can solve it later. Feeling much calmer now.

I added the 9-Gamut. I find it really helps speed things up for me, especially going around the circles saying the things that hurt me the most, until they lessen in intensity:

Shocking Facebook Post – So I EFT – Written Live As I Tap

First of all, I feel destroyed by seeing this post and do not feel at all like tapping. So I am tapping to help my resistance toEFT Master Practitioner and Trainer Image EFT for now.

I feel moved to carry on with this as a Reminder: “Even though I feel too destroyed to tap, I deeply love and accept myself and want to forgive the perpetrators if I can”

Now I feel I can tap. It involves third parties and legal cases, so I will tap secretly. If something you have seen or been reminded of on Facebook has upset you, you can also call it “X” and tap with me. I’m on a 10 intensity out of 10, or a -8 , depending on which scale you use (both explained in my free “EFT How To For You”).

Setup: “Even though I’m deeply upset about X, I deeply and completely love and accept myself”

I am so bereft, I am repeating the Setup tens of times, not once, not 3, but tens or dozens.

Now at a 9.5 or -7.5, depending on which scale you use…

I feel a need to change the Setup:

Tears pouring – a release… Sobbing…

i tapped many times. then I felt i had to tap on various parts of the X issue, whilst doing the 9-Gamut. If unfamiliar with the 9-gamut, here is a video I recorded earlier..

Numbers now 3 or -2, depending on which scale you use. Tapping again:

Setup: “Even though I have this feeling about X, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and I am worthy of respect no matter what”

Reminder: “X”

I tapped this a number of times. Numbers now down to 0 or +4, depending on which scale you use. I feel good enough to carry on with my day’s work. I feel happy and calm.

Why Tap On Seemingly Unrelated Stuff?

Because there is enough evidence that unhappy emotions can exacerbate a physical condition. I do everything I can to help my left lung, which has been behaving 100% for most of the past few months. This is no coincidence but due to regular tapping and the discipline of using EFT to release unwanted emotions and pains as they come up for healing 🙂 EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. EFT Personal Peace Procedure And Mugs

When I started this blog way back in 2004 (first postings have unfortunately been lost, but you can go back to 2005), I thought I had done all my EFT past self-tapping. This is part of your Personal Peace Procedure. The next part is to tap on anything that comes up on a day-to-day basis. However, as you can see if you go back to 2005, I had plenty in my past to still tap on. Also, every now and then, something long-forgotten surfaces for healing. These are now small events, not like the big events at the beginning of this blog.

To illustrate, let me tell you about a tapping I did in the last two weeks. My spouse brought old drinking mugs into our household. Two were remnants of the 1980s, those clear mugs that are either totally clear glass or a transparent brown glass. And for some reason, I always hated them. I found it hard to make someone a cup of coffee in them, but my spouse loved those mugs, and so I used them begrudgingly. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that I did not even like washing them or even touching them whilst putting them back into the cupboard. Then finally, I remembered! I had a terrible time in my first marriage in the early 80s, when I had mugs just like those. Many arguments happened whilst I was drinking tea from those mugs. After the divorce, I went through a period of poverty for several months whilst having cups of tea in those mugs. No wonder I didn´t like them. So I tapped something like:

Setup

¨I release the memory of these 80s mugs from my being, I release, I let go, I deeply love and accept myself¨.

Reminder

¨Those 80s mugs¨

I have just tapped it again, using the 9-Gamut this time too, and released the last of it. Wow, I am smiling as I tap.  A memory of a fight has just melted, and in its place was Duran Duran and Culture Club playing on TV whilst I enjoyed a cup of tea in those nice mugs!

Although this blog is about recovery from illness and maintenance of a healthy state, you can use the postings here to help guide you with your tapping on any condition.
When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. I call an emotion anything that your mind or body says to you, from fear to constricted airways. My health was not always as good as this.
