Solution!

OK, the challenge I have just tapped on never happened and I have found a brilliant new solution to another problem due to the tapping. Tomorrow will be a very quiet day – what I call an enforced day off, since my spouse is in-between contracts and when I have a quiet day, we can’t splash out and go away for a break. So, as I tapped on all the points silently contemplating this situation, I found out my fav teachers are doing classes at the gym practically all day tomorrow; and I decided to spend most of the day at the gym relaxing the way I enjoy with early afternoon spent at the beach in my bikini on a towel reading a book. My assistant will answer the calls 🙂

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. Shame at the Gym and Forgiveness with EFT

I got up late, with the back-end of a chest infection. It usually takes me an hour or so to drain my left lung and cough when I am at that stage, but this morning I was late and had no time. Still, I went to the gym and did the cycling class, coughing for the first hour something like once every five minutes. This eventually scared the attendee on my left, who got up and took a bike way behind me. My speed immediately sklowed down, I felt deeply ahsmed, and my lung seemed to produce yet more mucus.

So I tapped/rubbed my fingers together:

“Even though I scared her, I deeply” … then I tried to say “accept myself” and I couldn’t.

I kept repeating the above statement and trying to say it as I tapped/rubbed until I finally could. The I tapped/rubbed:

“Even though I scared her, I” … then I tried to say “forgive myself” and I couldn’t.

Again, same thing, until I could forgive myself. To forgive myself, I had to promise myself that next time, I would wake up earlier, as it is not fair on others, they don’t know I’m not infectious and don’t want to be exposed to the reality of lung disease in a gym class. I tapped as I visualized my alarm ringing earlier and me waking up.

Then my speed picked up and with a plan of future action, I did really well for the rest of the class.
