EFT For Physiotherapy Painful Exercise

As usual, my style is not polished but raw and real. This was the 5th take after realising my microphone earplug thing had just died, so I even forgot to show you the exercise I was doing. Suffice to say, it was very hard for me and no way could I have done it with EFT and Tapping.

My health is great now, and I am preparing for my second half marathion, after a knee injury, hence the necessary physiotherapy exercises. I have found that EFT releases energy blocks that can make me ill. I truly believe this, having experienced the effects of untapped stress on my body, even if it just leads to a cold. Because with COPD, a cold can be a pretty big deal. So I tap away any unwanted feelings as soon as I can, to remain healthy and happy.

No Confidence and In Pain – Tapped Away

In the last few days, a third party had sent me some potential clients to try and convert into actual clients. Whilst I have a high conversion rate, and 95% of people who attend are lovely, there is that 5% who are in a really bad place and want to stay there. They cannot wait to leave, no matter what I do, they are not at ease, and since a friend or relative made them attend, they make themselves stay. Of course, there is no tapping involved, that was what my contract with this third party was about. So I could not even give them EFT to make them feel better or at least give a demonstration that would ease their suffering just that little bit. So, unlike when I give an EFT or Reiki session, where the client is willing, lets go, and I let go of their pain and anything they throw at me, this is a client who is very highly nervous, constantly anxious, very depressed, in despair, and refusing help. Yes, I know they are not ready, and yes, I give them kindness unless they attack me (which some do). I will never do this type of marketing exercise again. It was not a good return on investment, and it put me in very difficult situations. Last night, my spouse said that I kept talking over and over again about how distressed I was. Today, I have many tasks ahead of me, admin and customer service, and I just have totally lost the confidence to do them. And my right shoulder keeps migrating towards my ear due to the sheer stress of it all, and that creates unbelievable pain. So, I am letting go of most of this morning’s tasks and spending quality time tapping here. I cannot move forward in this state. I need to let it go. I want to let it go.

Pain 9 out of 10, despite having taken an anti-inflammatory (something I very rarely resort to but had to use often during this marketing ordeal) and used Epsom salts and a massage on that area.

So I tap:
Setup
“Even though I am carrying [that particularly sad and despairing client who represents all the others]’s pain in my right shoulder, it is their pain, they choose to keep it, I just want to let it go. I am not responsible for their pain. It is their choice. I cannot change that. I accept that they for whatever reasons want to stay in pain at this moment in time. I respect that even though I do not understand these reasons, I can make the choice and decision to accept them. I accept without judgement.”

I tapped this Setup 3-4 times. Pain down to 6.5 out of 10. Before I got to the Reminder, I could see an image of myself during this particularly sad and despairing client session, looking sad and helpless, my face devoid of any joy, my body slumped and tense at the same time. I look all black. My hair is black, my clothes are black, my skin is black (not brown or any shade of normal human skin color but actually pitch black), my eyes are totally black all over. So I tap for the woman in the picture. I tap for me on that particular session, in total black despair and depression.

Setup:

She wants to be free from her pain. I love her very much”

I did this setup once and saw myself still totally black, now curled up in the fetal position, scared and just wanting help asap. I look at her and tap on her behalf…

Setup:
“Your blackness, Your curled-up-ness. I love you anyway”
Reminder:
“Your blackness, Your curled-up-ness. I love you anyway”

… tapping and crying…

Reminder only, over and over again, as many rounds as I want, also adding the 9-Gamut, as it really helps me:
“Your blackness, Your curled-up-ness. I love you anyway”

Pain down to 3 out of 10. I am back to being in the colours I was wearing at that session, my hair is back to blonde, my face and skin and eyes are back to their color at that session. I am no longer curled up. I am still slumped.

Now tapping for both me and her (the me in that particular session)… Reminder only, over and over again, as many rounds as I want, also adding the 9-Gamut, as it really helps me:
“My pain in my shoulder just there, Your slump-ness, your fear, your despair. I love you anyway”

She is now fine. I have this pain in my shoulder now down to 2, and I feel it is because of anger. I am angry with myself for having invested in this particular marketing program instead of another, which in retrospect would have been a lot easier on me, although with this one, I was guaranteed financial success and the other one carried no guarantees. I should have taken that risk.

Setup and reminder:
“This anger in my shoulder just there, I just want to let it go.”

Pain down to a 1 out of 10.

Stretching… Stretching some more… Doing shoulder mobilization exercises…

Pain down to 0. Old injury around T3 in my back feels like a 0.5, so the pain has moved there but is minimal. I have the confidence to carry on with my next task now, which is mega-urgent and one that pleases me. I will tap again later when I have the time. For now, I can function and carry on with my work for the day. I have actual EFT clients all day later today. No go-see marketing appointments, so I am sure that by the end of the day with all that tapping, my pain will be completely gone, and I will be happy and satisfied.

This whole tapping took about an hour, just to give you an idea of what to expect for slightly complex pain.

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. I call an emotion anything that your mind or body says to you, from fear to constricted airways. My health was not always as good as this. EFT when that gym class got just too challenging

All I did hen my glutes hurt like nothing you can imagine is carry on with the exercise and just tap my Thumb point onto the floor, saying in my head “ow ow ow ow ow”. OK, sometimes I also said the ow out lout, but the tapping, wow, that mad the glute pain disappear.

I then went on to compete a full aerobic workout and stretch as well. I feel good!
