EFT Running Motivation For Half-Marathon

I am finding it very useful to rub the finger points together as I start slowing down in my running training, and I say in my head “It’s a race, not a stroll in the park”. My speed then magically picks up.

Today, some weird things happened whilst I was running in my gym in Bromley, Greater London, and finger-rubbing, preparing for my Eastbourne race in 2 weeks. A young girl, just my age before I became ill in the first place all those many years ago, was running on the treadmill beside me. She was faster than me. She was dressed nicely and looked like a very capable person who knew what they were doing. A memory immediately came to my mind, when I was with the wrong boyfriend, after my family abandoned me upon first getting ill. I found intense hatred and anger towards the Aspect of me who was with that boyfriend. He was no good in every way. So I just kept observing me and the Aspect (called Echo in Matrix Reimprinting). I was shouting at her. She was defending herself, saying that she needed ti be with a man for financial reasons, and she was just following what her family told her to do for money. I kept running and tapping. I was very uspet, as was the Aspect (Echo in Matrix Reimprinting). But my speed dropped a lot. I kept finger rubbing nevertheless, just observing me and the Aspect. Finally, she calmed down, I calmed down, showed her EFT, and told her she must end hat relationship or there will be terrible things that will happen. She mentioned money again. I explained t her that she was brought up to depend on men for money, and that is not the way to do it. I introduced her to a good financial advisor, so she can work out how to make and manage money without the need for a man. The session ended peacefully.

My speed picked up, and I happily finished my running session for the day!

My health is great now, and I am preparing for my second half marathon in Eastbourne. Most of my training is in my Bromley gym or on the road, in Chislehhurst, Bickly, Shirley, Beckenham, Grove Park, and Sundridge Park. I find that EFT releases energy blocks that can make me ill. I truly believe this, having experienced the effects of untreated stress on my body. Because with COPD, even a cold or a day struggling to breathe can be a pretty big deal. So I tap away any unwanted feelings as soon as I can, to remain healthy and happy.

EFT For Denial About My Experience

It is 1st January 2017. A new year and one that myself and many of my friends and acquaintances are glad to see. 2016 Was a hard year it seems for many. It was especially hard for me. Due to others being involved, I cannot divulge much, but just take my word for it that 2016 was one of the worst years of my life.

My lung health was overall pretty good. Otherwise, I suffered terribly, due to circumstances I had chosen to live under, not realising just how harmful it was going to be for me.

So, I was talking to someone upon awakening. I expressed how glad I was that 2016 was over. they then proceeded to totally negate everything they knew I had suffered that year and pretend it was a great year. They pointed out some business successes. To be honest, at my level of skill and experience, that to me is nowhere near what I could have achieved had circumstance not been so literally horrific. I tried to hold my ground but to no avail, That person wanted to negate my terrible experiences. This creates a conflict, where I would want to hold onto the bad feelings, as a witness to what had happened to me.

But I do not want bad feelings. And certainly not in the new year, the new leaf, the new beginning!

On a scale of 10-0, where 10 is the worst and 0 is neutral, I feel a 7. It is in my chest and I just want to scream “I suffered, why can’t you just recognize that and move on?!” So I tap:

“Even though I suffered, why can’t you just recognize that and move on?!, I deeply and completely honor the FACT that I had been through this and totally and completely love, honor, and accept myself, just as I am”.

Reminder

After about 15 minutes of this tapping, I am at a 0 out of 10. I am feeling more productive, getting ready for more creative, productive, and useful work. Thank you EFT!

EFT helps me With Everything

Traumatic Memory Tapped Away in Public With EFT

Today in the gym class, the teacher innocently played 80’s music. Only I knew some of those people on the records, or I knew of the trauma they were singing about.

One died of cancer, and it was horrible. Another was teased by his classmates and rejected by his parents for being gay. In South Africa, where this music was then forbidden, and English is often not the first language for a white Afrikaaner (I am doing a project in South Africa at the moment), they just think it’s music. but to me, I felt the trauma of the people in their voice, the song’s melody, and their suffering in their lyrics.

After trying to listen to my own headphones, however rude that was, we got to a part where we had to listen to what the teacher was saying. And the song rang in my ears “run away, run away”, about a persecuted gay man at a time in Britain when it was not acceptable to be gay. Such a youngster, hated all his life, because he couldn’t fit. Right into trauma in my mind. It may have been someone else’s trauma, but it was, along with the other who died of cancer, and all that sadness in the lyrics, too much. Luckily, at that point, my hands were free, So I kept doing the tummy exercises whilst tapping on my collarbone and listening to the lyrics, till I calmed down. I kept tapping throughout the sad music. Finally, it was time to cool down and stretch, and the teacher, who is excellent at technique, by the way, and had no idea of the sheer suffering the singers were wailing out, changed the music to chill-out bland. Phew. If not for EFT, I would not have lasted this class and would have missed out on badly-needed exercise to keep my body as healthy as possible.

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. I call an emotion anything that your mind or body says to you, from fear to constricted airways. My health was not always as good as this.
