Frustration And Anger Stress At Work

Do you ever get stress at work because of inconsiderate or let us be honest, people who do not realize that they are being inconsiderate and making you work 3 times as much?

I just have. I feel so frustrated and angry. This person turned out to be a nice person, we had a long chat, but the marketing company who bought her in my direction write misleading things, and their advertising on TV is very misleading, in my opinion. So she has been pestering me to make her an appointment for me to earn £2 income per appointment. But dealing with her so far has now halved the amount. I had to call her, explain how that marketer works, what to expect, and that it is not a way to enjoy one appointment but a kind of trial to see if she wants to become a client o not. It turned out she had not bought from the marketing company as yet, became totally confused, and luckily decided not to persue an appointment with me, as I said it was only for people who seriously were thinknig of engaging my services after the trial.

We had a good chat, I think I was very professional, and I now have ended her regular hassling of me. She did not mean to hassle me. The marketing company write their information in such a way as to mislead the client into buying and thinking they own an appointment asap before they even commit to buying. And I will let all but one marketing company go when I have a member of staff to hep me again. If you have been following my blog, you will see that my business, spouse, home, everything was taken away from me after emigrating abroad, because of a sudden change of policy in that country about spouses. I was one of thousands, and we still chat over Facebook and see how we are doing and give each other emotional support. So now I am reduced to starting afresh with minimal budget (long story). I expect to ave a full business like before by about March or April next year, in the safety and security of my own country, which i shall not leave again for a long time; but until then, I have to put in crazy hours and learn lots of new things. And clients that do not understand and hassle me, albeit totally innocently, and very nice people, well that really makes me FRUSTRATED!!!!

Now for my self-EFT:

Tapping on all my favourite points over and over again, as I say as loud as I dare without the neighbours complaining:

After 5 minutes of this, I am smiling and calm.

Stuck indoors again

I’m stuck indoors again. There is a problem with my payment system and until it is sorted, I have to personally supervise that it is, although I pay good money to ensure it gets done, and I AM MAD AS HELL about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Setup:
“F…..ng STUPID ….., I’m now STUCK INDOORS yet again AND – AND I’M WORKING ON A DAY OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Reminder:
“Working on my day off, stuck indoors”
“My only day off this week”
“Why do I have to supervise contractors’ work?”
“OK, so that’s why I’m the boss, because I can and they can’t, but why is that not much consolation right now?”
“Angry as hell”

Setup:
“I love working with clients, I enjoy giving workshops, but this admin and drudgery work, well, I had booked today off from it, but I have to do it anyway now, and I am so sad I can’t trust someone who doesn’t care enough about my business to get the work done unless I’m breathing down their neck.”

I don’t feel like killing someone anymore. I’m only a 5 out of 10 now.

Setup
“Even though I have this 5, and I’m ANGRY that I’m angry, I f….ng accept myself any f……ng way”

At the 9-Gamut, I felt it dissipate to 3, now at 2.23 (honest, no kidding).

I feel sick – I got so mad, I couldn’t finish my breakfast – gloop (porridge), my fav breakfast, ah well, I do want to lose weight, maybe I had too much in my bowl.

“Even though it interrupted my breakfast and canceled my morning and I’m not at all happy about it, I accept myself anyway”

I care about my business more than I care about having a day off. I’m now accepting that I do not have any time to myself today and will have to ride out this wave. I’m not happy about it but I’m calm. Maybe a 1. I don’t think it is going to go down any further, as I am continually supervising the work and it’s ongoing for the rest of today.

EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health.

Work stress

I went to a braai (South African for barbecue), where wood was burned for hours in an enclosed space. My chest got so bad, that I now have a chest infection. Yesterday, I went to the doctor, and I am so grateful that South African doctors are decent. I got seen in 10 minutes and was out in another 10. Anyway, as a result of this temporary physical decline, I lost work time yesterday and some of last week, so today, the stress as work piles up is a bit much. So I decided to take a break and tap.
