I went to the gym again yesterday. Now, in February, I had a flu for a few days which affected my breathing and I am only now really recovering. When the going got tough on the exercise bike, I tapped for it. But I needed more. So I thought of all the good things I could think of whilst tapping, including a lovely poem Gary Craig sent in his last newsletter, and I managed a total of two minutes at 100+ spm. This is the speed at which something good happens to my left lung, and I need to build up to 12 minutes again at 100 spm. So a step in the right direction, and I’m very pleased. If you have a tough time tapping for motivation, tap and think of good things, acts of kindness, a loved one’s smile, a hero’s bravery, and you can be pleasantly surprised what a difference this positive thinking tapping can do.
Then I weighed myself. I had lost another 350g. Not bad for zero effort 🙂
When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health.
