Writing From The Heart with EFT

I sat there on my computer just now for 2 hours trying to get the writer’s block out of me. It was hard due to distractions. I had to tap on all the points I could easily access as my spouse was cussing in the next room filling out a tedious form for us. And I had to tap-and-swear for the dog next door barking, until finally, its owners got the dog inside. But still, no matter which unfinished writing work I opened, I just closed it again in dismay. I just couldn’t write. No motivation whatsoever.

Then I sat down and tapped something like the following Setup and Reminder in one on all the points:
“Not motivated. I accept myself anyway”

And lo and behold, a realization came over me, an AHA moment:
I was trying to write what I thought others wanted to read, not what I wanted to write from the heart!

So I wrote this blog post instead. Half-way through, I remembered the color healing book I had promised a lovely client to finish and publish. And that too, is from my heart. So… Back on track!

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system – better in my experience than hypnotherapy or anything else I have tried! In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. I call an emotion anything that your mind or body says to you, from fear to constricted airways. My health was not always as good as this.
